1. Overview
At HYPERADVANCER, we stand behind the quality of our Longevity Events intelligence reports. This Refund Policy explains your rights and our procedures for refunds and cancellations.
This policy complies with the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and Belgian consumer protection law.
2. Your Right of Withdrawal (Consumer Customers)
2.1 14-Day Withdrawal Period
If you are a consumer (purchasing for personal use, not for business purposes), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU.
Withdrawal period begins: The day after you conclude the purchase contract
Withdrawal period ends: 14 days later
2.2 CRITICAL EXCEPTION for Digital Content
For digital content, the right of withdrawal is lost once performance has begun (i.e., once we provide access and you start downloading/accessing the Report), provided that:
- You gave prior express consent to immediate delivery, and
- You acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal
This exception is permitted under Article 16(m) of the Consumer Rights Directive.
2.3 Express Consent Requirement
At checkout, you will be asked to tick a checkbox confirming:
"I consent to immediate access to my digital report and acknowledge that I lose my right of withdrawal once performance begins (when the download link is provided and I access or download the Report)."
Important requirements:
- The consent checkbox is unticked by default and must be actively selected
- We confirm your consent and acknowledgement in the order confirmation email and store a record of it for compliance purposes
- You must actively consent before we can deliver the Report
Without this consent, we cannot provide immediate access to the digital content.
2.4 How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal (Before Performance Begins)
If you wish to withdraw before we provide access or before you download the Report, you can:
Method 1: Email
Send an email to support@hyperadvancer.com with:
- Subject: "Withdrawal from Purchase"
- Your name
- Order number or purchase date
- Email address used for purchase
Method 2: Written Notice
Send a letter to:

You may use this model withdrawal form (not obligatory):
"I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale for the purchase of Longevity Events Report, ordered on [date], order number [number], purchased by [your name]."
2.5 Refund Processing
If you validly exercise your right of withdrawal before performance begins:
- We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice
- Refund will be issued to the original payment method
- You will receive the full purchase price including VAT
- We do not deduct any fees
3. Refunds for Non-Conforming Digital Content
3.1 Non-Conforming Digital Content (Legal Remedies)
Under EU law, digital content must conform to the contract. If a Report lacks conformity because it is:
- Defective (e.g., file corrupted, cannot be opened, missing pages)
- Incomplete (e.g., substantial sections missing)
- Not as described (e.g., wrong report delivered, content substantially different from description)
You may request remedies for lack of conformity.
3.2 Available Remedies (Hierarchy)
Primary Remedy:
- Bring into Conformity – We will provide a corrected version of the Report or fix the lack of conformity free of charge and within a reasonable time. This is your primary remedy.
Secondary Remedies (if primary remedy fails or is not possible):
- Proportionate Price Reduction – If bringing the content into conformity is impossible, not provided within a reasonable time, or would be disproportionate, you may request a partial refund proportionate to the lack of conformity.
- Termination and Full Refund – If the lack of conformity is substantial, cannot be remedied, or we fail to remedy it within a reasonable time, you may terminate the contract and receive a full refund.
3.3 How to Request a Remedy
Contact us within a reasonable time of discovering the lack of conformity:

Include:
- Your name and order number
- Description of the lack of conformity
- Screenshots or evidence if possible
- Your preferred remedy (corrected version, price reduction, refund)
3.4 Our Response
We aim to respond within 5 business days and aim to provide an appropriate remedy within 14 days, or within another reasonable timeframe depending on the nature of the issue.
Genuine lack of conformity: Full remedy (corrected version, price reduction, or refund as appropriate) at no cost
Subjective dissatisfaction:Not covered (e.g., "I expected more detail" when content matches description)
4. Subscription Refunds and Cancellations
4.1 Annual Subscription Terms
Annual subscriptions for €1,000/year include access to four quarterly Reports over 12 months.
Automatic Renewal:
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 7 days before the renewal date.
4.2 Cancellation Before Renewal
To cancel your subscription:

Subject: "Cancel Subscription - [Your Email]"
Deadline: At least 7 days before your renewal date
Effect of Cancellation:
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current subscription period
- You retain access to Reports already delivered during the current period
- We will not resend already delivered Reports beyond the 90-day download window unless requested; you can always request a fresh download link
- No refund for the current period (see Section 4.3)
Confirmation:
We will send you a cancellation confirmation email within 2 business days.
4.3 Mid-Subscription Cancellations (No Partial Refunds)
We do not offer prorated refunds for cancellations during an active subscription period.
Example: If you cancel 6 months into your annual subscription:
- You can access Reports delivered so far
- Subscription ends at the 12-month mark
- No refund for the remaining 6 months
Exception: If we fail to deliver Reports as scheduled, you may be entitled to a partial refund. Contact support@hyperadvancer.com.
4.4 Cooling-Off Period for Subscriptions (Consumer Customers)
When you first purchase an annual subscription as a consumer, you have 14 days to cancel and receive a full refund, provided that:
- You have not accessed or downloaded any Reports, and
- Performance has not begun
Once you access or download your first quarterly Report (and you have given prior express consent and acknowledged the loss of withdrawal right), the 14-day withdrawal right ends.
5. No Refunds After 14 Days
General Policy:
After 14 days from purchase (or after performance begins for digital content, whichever comes first), we do not offer refunds except:
- Non-conforming digital content (Section 3)
- Subscription cooling-off period (Section 4.4)
- Failure to deliver (Section 6)
Reasons NOT covered for refunds after 14 days:
- Change of mind
- Purchasing the wrong report by mistake (verify before purchase)
- Dissatisfaction with content that conforms to the description
- Business circumstances changed
Consumer Rights:
Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer remedies for non-conforming digital content.
6. Failure to Deliver
If we fail to deliver your Report within the promised timeframe:
- Single reports: Immediate delivery expected upon payment
- Subscription reports: Delivery within 7 days of scheduled publication date
Your Rights:
- Set an additional reasonable deadline for delivery (e.g., 7 days)
- If we still fail to deliver, you may cancel the order and receive a full refund

7. Refund Processing
7.1 Refund Method
All refunds are processed using your original payment method:
- Credit/debit card refunds appear within 5-10 business days (depends on your bank)
- PayPal refunds appear within 1-3 business days
- Other payment methods as supported by Stripe
7.2 Refund Timeframe
We process approved refunds within:
- 14 days for withdrawal right refunds
- Reasonable time for non-conformity refunds (we aim for 14 days)
- 30 days maximum for subscription-related refunds
7.3 Refund Confirmation
You will receive an email confirmation when:
- Your refund request is approved
- The refund has been processed
8. Business vs Consumer Customers
8.1 Consumer Rights
The withdrawal rights in Sections 2 and 4.4 apply only to consumers (individuals purchasing for personal use).
8.2 Business Customers
If you are purchasing for business purposes (using a company name or VAT number):
- You are NOT entitled to the 14-day withdrawal right
- Refunds available only for non-conforming digital content (Section 3)
- Subscription cancellations follow Section 4.2 (no mid-subscription refunds)
8.3 How to Identify Customer Type
At checkout, we ask whether you are:
- Consumer (individual, personal use) → Full withdrawal rights
- Business (company, VAT number provided) → Limited withdrawal rights
9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
9.1 Contact Us First
Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer, please contact us at support@hyperadvancer.com. We resolve most issues quickly and a chargeback can be time-consuming for both parties.
9.2 Unjustified Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback after:
- Receiving and accessing the Report
- Beyond the 14-day withdrawal period
- For reasons not covered by this policy
We may:
- Provide evidence to your card issuer that the purchase was valid
- Suspend access to future Reports (for subscription customers)
- Take legal action to recover costs if the chargeback is fraudulent
10. Exceptions and Limitations
10.1 No Refunds For
- Subjective dissatisfaction ("I didn't like it" or "I expected something different") when content conforms to the description
- Change of circumstances (e.g., "My business focus changed")
- Purchasing errors (e.g., buying the same report twice) - verify before purchase
- Failure to download within the 90-day download window - contact us for a new link
10.2 Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to deliver Reports due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Acts of God, war, terrorism
- Internet service disruptions
- Third-party data source unavailability
In such cases, we will notify you and offer:
- Delayed delivery (no refund)
- Rescheduled delivery for subscription reports
- Refund if delay exceeds 30 days

12. Dispute Resolution
12.1 Complaints Procedure
If you are dissatisfied with how we have handled your refund request:
- First: Email support@hyperadvancer.com with details of your complaint
- Second: We will review and respond within 10 business days
- Third: If unresolved, escalate using one of the methods below

12.3 Legal Action
This Refund Policy does not affect your statutory rights under Belgian or EU law. You may pursue legal remedies through Belgian courts if necessary.
